Pumpkin in Sirop

Seed and peel the pumpkin and cut it into 3cm thick slices. Arrange them in a flat pan.
Spread the sugar and let it rest for 1 hour.
Pour the water.
Cover and cook it on low heat for about 6o minutes until tender.
Let it cool.
Arrange the pumpkins in a serving dish and sprinkle it with crushed walnuts.
